INGREDIENTS
- 1 (12-14 pound) turkey
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup Double Barrel Honey
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Double Barrel Honey, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture over the turkey skin.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and roast for 30 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Cover the turkey with foil and roast for 1-1.5 hours more, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh registers 165°F (74°C).
