Bourbon Honey Roasted Butternut Squash

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Double Barrel Honey
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

      INSTRUCTIONS

      1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

      2. In a large bowl, combine butternut squash cubes, olive oil, Double Barrel Honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg,salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

      3. Spread the seasoned butternut squash in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

      4. Roast for 30-35 minutes, or until the squash is tender and slightly caramelized.

      5. Serve warm as a side dish or add to salads, soups, or grain bowls.
